George E. Witherspoon NAMPA — Graveside services for George Witherpoon, 61, of 914 N. Midland Blvd., Nampa, who died of natural causes Tuesday in a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. He was born April 18, 1920, in Texas, where he was reared and educated. He later moved with his family to California. He served in the Army during World War II. He moved to the Nampa area in 1969. Survivors include a daughter, Arvella M. Bailey of Nampa; a son, Joe A. of Caldwell; a brother, Buck of Georgia; and a sister, Lois Blick of Los Vegas, Nev.
