Bio

Bill Hill, 87, died Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at his home. He was born in St. Paul, Virginia; son of the late Samuel David and Martha Bays Hill. He was preceded in death by four sisters and seven brothers. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War, a retired coal miner, and he attended the First Assembly of God Church in Bristol, Virginia. He is survived by his wife of fifty four years, four daughters, two sons, one brother, sixteen grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services and Interment for Willie M. Hill will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2017 in Hill Family Cemetery, St. Paul, Virginia with Pastor Jeff Carico officiating. Military rites will be conducted by V.F.W. Post 6975 of Bristol, Virginia and the Virginia National Guard. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
