Jerry Lynn Foote, 76, of Spring, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 in The Woodlands, Texas. Jerry was born in Nacogdoches, Texas on January 15, 1941, the son of Joseph Jesse Foote and Ida Pearl Stripling Foote. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Laird Funeral Home with Bro. Sonny Scarborough officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM to 7:00PM on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Laird Funeral Home. Many people will remember Jerry as a young man riding the county roads on his beloved horse Babe. Jerry lived his entire life in Nacogdoches County until his failing health forced him to relocate to Huntsville, Texas eight years ago. Mr. Jerry Foote is survived by his sister, Sammye Foote Dees; nephew, Roy Reed Dees II; Grand nephews, Justin Dees, Cody Dees, Jacob Dees; Grand nieces, Maria Dees, Ella Dees, Olivia Dees and several loving cousins. He is preceded in death by parents; Joseph Jesse Foote and Ida Pearl Stripling Foote; and infant brother, A.J. Foote. LAIRD FUNERAL HOME
