GOLDBERG, DARLIS NELL (RAY), 66 of Louisville, died at Hospice, Wednesday, November 7, 2007. Born in Louisville, and raised between Louisville and Flint, MI, she was a graduate of Central High School (Flint), Class of 1959. After high school, she modeled, and worked for a dress shop called The Vogue. After she married, she became a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with a master's degree in social work. She later moved back to Kentucky and became one of the first women in Kentucky to become a licensed provider of the court for domestic violence. She started her own group counseling business in 1997 called Choices. Outside of work, she was an avid reader, lover of the arts and an Anglophile. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Violet and Jim Roach; her two sisters, Sandy and Judy; and niece, Deana Clark. She is survived by her three children, a grandson, two stepchildren, her sister, her brother, three cousins, and her faithful dog, Lulu. There will be a private memorial service at a later date for family and friends.
