Janie Trojacek Czajkowski, 91, Burleson, Texas, passed away December 12, 2017 in Fort Worth. Born February 28, 1926, in Franklin, Texas to Joseph Trojacek and Janie Pasiecznik. She grew up in Bremond, Texas, and at the age of 18, she married Bruno Czajkowski and they moved to Fort Worth. Janie known for her ambitious and entrepreneurial spirit saw the potential of Fort Worth’s burgeoning population growth and bought property and built several rental houses. The last of which was sold only a few short years ago. While becoming a success as a landlord, she worked as the head waitress at the Black Stone and Worth Hotels, when the Worth Hotel was the first 5 star hotel in Texas, there she met several of her favorite actors and musicians that would ask for her by name. Janie loved dancing Polkas, Blue Grass and Traditional Country and Western music, in the 1970s she and her husband found the Stagecoach Ballroom. They loved the venue so much by 1976 they bought it with her brother Milton. Together they made it a Fort Worth tradition and transformed it by booking local and national talent and making the dance floor the largest and best still around today. Janie was preceded in by her daughter Patsy Czajkowski, and her brothers Joe “Doc” Trojacek, Jr and Milton Trojacek. She is survived by, her husband Bruno, her sister Annie, her daughter Jean Czajkowski-Desai and husband Kiran, her son Chester Czajkowski and wife Denise. Her grandchildren, Jennifer Chidgey and wife Jennifer Miller, John-Paul Chidgey and wife Amanda, Don Reeves and wife Anna Marie, Julia Paur and husband Kyle, Cristy Czajkowski, Jacob Czajkowski and wife Tara, AJ Czajkowski and Nicholas Czajkowski. She also leaves her great grandchildren, Katie Chidgey, John-Luke Chidgey, Eve Kroh, Danielle Reeves, Tex Chidgey, Jackson Reeves, Knox Czajkowski and Sophia-Jean Paur, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
