Bio
Alma Willingham Gilliam, of Granbury, passed peacefully from this life Thursday, November 16, 2017. Her funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Granbury Church of Christ where she was a long time member. Burial will be in Holly Hills Memorial Park, visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury. Mrs. Gilliam was born on September 15, 1930 in Green, Texas to Glen and Demetria Coggin Godwin. She had two brothers. Mrs. Gilliam grew up in Dallas where she met the love of her life, Ralph Willingham, her husband of 53 years. They had three children. When Mr. Willingham passed away in 2002, Mrs. Gilliam traveled in Europe and taught English to Bible scholars in Croatia. She married Dalton Gilliam in 2005. Mrs. Gilliam was a faithful Christian, devoted wife and mother and doting grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Dalton Gilliam; daughters Debby Johnson and spouse Zantè Garcia and Donna Willingham; son, Paul Willingham and wife, Michelle; grandsons, Justin Crowell, Cody Crowell and wife Valerie, Brent Johnson, Justin, Josh, and Jacob Willingham; and great-grandsons Nathan and Alexander Crowell. Wiley Funeral Home made arrangements.
