J C. Wilson Residence was not listed; Enlisted as a Private (date unknown). "C" Co. TN 16th Infantry Enlisted 10/1/62. Deserted in 1/63. Name appears on a receipt roll for clothing 9/30/64. Is mentioned in CV, Vol. #XI p.229 as being wounded at Franklin. Transferred to Ft. Delaware. A J.C. Wilson is buried in the Kirby Cemetery in Warren County, 1/3/1844 - 5/21/1929. Husband of Phebie Ford. Brother of J.B.
