NORA LEONA PRUITT 1925-1998 Nora Leona Pruitt, 72, of Point died April 6, 1998 at Presbyterian Hospital in Greenville, Texas. Services will be held Wednesday, April 8 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Point, with Rev. Gene Witt officiating. Burial will be at Kleberg Cemetery at 3:00 pm in Kleberg, Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Lybrand Point Funeral Home. On September 13, 1925 Nora Leona was born to John and Rosie Turner Brown in Lancaster, Texas. She was the wife of the late Edoil Preston Pruitt. She was also a housewife. She is survived by one son, Preston Paul Pruitt, Alabama, one daughter, Rhonda Pruitt of Point, Texas. Two brothers, Roland Brown, Kennedale and Johnny Brown, Arlington, Texas; one sister, Mae Bryant, New Orleans, Louisiana and four grandchildren.
