Bio

Mrs. Theodore Knoeck, 71, Marathon, died today at 4:15 a.m. in a Marshfield hospital. Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 pm. at the Kraemer Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. at St Mary's Catholic Church, both in Marathon. The Rev. Lloyd Geissler will officiate, and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home where St. Mary's Parish Council of Catholic Women will recite the rosary at 3:30 p.m. The Catholic Order of Foresters will bold a Bible vigil at 7:30 p.m., and the parish rosary will be said at 8:30 p.m. The former Hildegarde Daul was born March 6, 1907, in Ladysmith, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Daul. On Sept. 26, 1928, in Knowlton, she married Theodore Knoeck, who survives. She was a graduate of the Wood County Normal School, Wisconsin Rapids, and taught at several area country schools. In addition to the PCCW and Catholic Order of Foresters, she was a charter member of the Marathon Senior Citizens Club. She is also survived by a son, Laurell, 9303 Stettin Drive, Wausau; a sister, Mrs. Mary Hytry, Mosinee; a brother, Frank Daul, Stevens Point; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
