Obituary for Charley Dewey Davis Charley Dewey Davis, son of Clifford Henry Davis and Merle Loretta Hatfield Davis was born February 24, 1935 in Van Wert, Iowa and passed from this life November 23, 2010 at his home in Milo, Iowa at seventy-five years of age. Charley recieved his education in Grand River, Iowa graduating from Grand River High School. Charley worked as a tool and die machinist for many years at Furnas Electric. Charley loved tractors, hunting and collecting Indian artifacts; he also enjoyed collecting coins and antiques. He was a wonderful father and grandfather. Those relatives who preceded Charley in death were his parents; two sisters; and his nephew.
