Bio

Clyde C. Ingle went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, November 7, 2017. He was a loving husband and father; and a “people person”. Clyde loved his country and served in the Army, 7th Corp Voyagers. He was a UT graduate and avid Vols fan! He retired from the EPB and was a past EPB Credit Union treasurer. As a member of Red Bank Baptist Church, he was an usher, deacon and door greeter. He competed in Senior Olympics in seven categories winning many medals. He was preceded in death by parents; Thomas and Lefa Ingle and his brother Phillip. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Loraine Ingle; daughter, Janet (Bobby) Locke; brother, Harold; special “grands”; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors, officiating will be Dr. Fred Steelman and Reverend Bill Harvey. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 1:30 till 3:30 p.m. and on Monday November 13, 2017 from 12:30 till 1:30 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home Special thanks to wonderful neighbors and Hospice of Chattanooga for their loving care.
