Minnie was born in Chillicothe, Hardeman County, Texas to Joseph L. Bramblett and Cordia Holman. She was the second born of seven siblings, Leslie Bramblett, Rosie Lee (Cline), Bertha May (Swenson), Thomas Walter Bramblett, Mary Josephine (Devore), Infant Bramblett, and Nellie Lee Jo (Bramblett) . Minnie married Thomas Leonard"Bill" West on 27 Dec 1930 in Dona Ana, New Mexico. They were married for almost 40 years.
