Marvin Jack Reineke, 76, of Burwell,Nebraska died November 5, 2017 at the Community Memorial Health Center in Burwell. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the United Methodist Church in Burwell, Nebraska. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery in Burwell. Pastor Dennis Davenport and Pastor Roy Weber will officiate. Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell is in charge of the arrangements. Marvin was born May 25, 1941 in Burwell, Nebraska to Jack and Pearl (Hopkins) Reineke. Marvin married Yuvonne Schutt on December 3, 1961. They lived near Burwell where he worked construction. They then moved to Broken Bow, Nebraska where he owned and operated a gas station. Marvin moved to Anselmo, Nebraska to run a gas station and then to Merna, Nebraska. He moved to Mason City and started driving a truck hauling livestock. Marvin married Doris Lloyd on February 20, 1967 and they lived in Broken Bow. They then moved to Burwell and Marvin worked for Mulligan Sand & Gravel. In the mid 1980’s Marvin retired due to health reasons. Marvin enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, working around his shop with his kids and grandkids and family gatherings. Marvin is survived by six children, Delynn Hoover of Dunning, Nebraska, Bob and Angie Reineke of Elm Creek, Nebraska, Kim and Tim Churchill of Riverdale, Nebraska, Kathy Casey and friend Keith Nadeau of Palmetto Bay, Florida, Kaylene and Kirk McCarville of Burwell, Nebraska, Kelcy and Tony Tipsword of Burwell, Nebraska and Billy and Liza Reineke of Ericson, Nebraska. Twenty-seven grandchildren and thirty-seven great-grandchildren. A brother, Terry and Peggy Reineke of Ord, Nebraska. Three sisters, Carolyn and Laddie Hulinsky of Burwell, Nebraska, Marlene and Rolland Freeman of Burwell, Nebraska and Eunice Hawk of Burwell, Nebraska. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, Rick Casey, two brothers, Gail Reineke and Melvin Reineke, a nephew, Jamie Lloyd and a grandson, Jayden Churchill.
