Joseph Frank Joseph Frank Kocurek, age 93, passed away in Austin October 28, 2017. Jodie was born October 9, 1924 to Joe L. Kocurek and Adela Bordovsky Kocurek in Dime Box, Texas. He attended school in Dime Box through HS. His father believed in a good education and sent all seven children to the University of Texas at Austin during the depression era. Jodie served in the Air Force during WWII. Jodie was a investment broker and Retired from Rauscher Pierce Securities. Jodie truly loved his pet cats and the University of Texas Longhorns sports and social activities. Memorials may be made to the Austin Humane Society
