Sammy Ray Compton, 67, of North Little Rock, went home to be with the Lord on Jan 28, 2015. He was born in Waxahachie, Texas to Ida and the late William Compton. Rosewood Cremation and Funeral in charge of arrangements. ∼ Sammy Ray Compton March 26, 1947 - January 28, 2015 SAMMY'S OBITUARY Sammy was born March 26, 1947 in Waxahachie, Texas, to William and Ruth Compton. Sammy graduated from Waxahachie High School. He then went to Guam while servicing his country in the United States Air Force. Sammy was a 7 year cancer survivor. He is preceded in death by his father William Compton. Sammy is survived by his loving wife Vicky Compton, mother Ruth Compton, 3 sisters June Wilson, Linda Bates, Carol Hayes, son Matthew Compton, daughter Shannon Lundberg, grandchildren Harrison Lundberg, & Chloe Lundberg. A Memorial Service will be held at University Assembly of God Church 221 Solon Rd. Waxahachie, TX. Saturday, April 18, 2015 2:00PM.
