Marceline died Friday, October 20, 2017, at Plainview Manor in Plainview, Nebraska. Marceline Witt, daughter of Joe M. and Stazy M. (Vavak) Frank, was born August 22, 1934, on a farmstead south of Verdigre. She attended Creighton High School and graduated in 1952. Marceline taught at country school northeast of Creighton immediately after graduation, from August of 1952, until May of 1953. In 1952, she was baptized into the Lutheran faith and became a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Bazile Mills. Nebraska. On June 10, 1953, Marceline was united in marriage to Warren Witt at Christ Lutheran Church. They were blessed with four children, Wanda, Linda, Patty, and Bill. Marceline spent her time being a dedicated farm wife and mother. In later years she worked side by side with her husband in the flower beds and gardens. Marceline enjoyed caring for the miniature horses and rabbits on their farm. She was an Avon representative for many years. Marceline mowed area yards with Warren for 20 years and was currently cleaning offices at Creighton Livestock Market. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid. Her husband was her entire world and they did everything together. Marceline also enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, making each one feel special.
