Ernest E. Surman, Sr. (May 16, 1931 - October 13, 2017) Ernest E. Surman, Sr. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 10 am from the St. Rose Catholic Church in Schulenburg, Texas. Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm on Monday, with the Parish and Knights of Columbus rosary to be recited Monday evening at 7 pm from the Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg. The family requests donations be made to the St. Rose Catholic Church Schulenburg, Texas or a charity of one's choice. Survivors include: daughters-Sandy Hill/husband Roy of Sugarland and Ernestine Dach/husband Anton of Trinity; sons-Ernest Surman, Jr. of Trinity, Mark Surman/wife Suzette of Schulenburg and Ray Surman/wife Kim of Katy; sisters-Marcella Langhamer/husband Leon of Schulenburg and sister in law-Gladys Surman of Schulenburg; 13 grandchildren and 30 great granddchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife-Bernice.
