Charles Sasser was born in Star, OK on 10/11/1930 and went home on 10/16/2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Allie Sasser, two sisters, Georgia and Zula, one newborn son and two granddaughters. He is survived by 4 daughters, Linda and husband Bill, Debra and husband Alan, Nancy, Wanda and husband Joseph; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. Serving in the 1st Calvary Division of the US Army, he was stationed in Korea and Japan and was awarded the Korean Service Medal with 3 stars, Bronze Service Medal, U.N. Service Medal, Army of Occupation Medal and the Combat Infantry Brigade. Retiring after 20 years as a driver for Greyhound Bus Lines, his hobbies included weekly meetings with fellow Korean vets and following the economic markets.
