Bio

Joseph Bowman, 77, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Oct. 9, 2017. He was born Dec. 14, 1939, in Lone Oak, Texas, to Alvin and Zenna Vee Bowman. Joseph was a supervisor at E-Systems. He enjoyed restoring old cars, hunting and hanging out with his friends, but most of all his family. Joseph married the love of his life, Mary Bowman, on July 12, 1958, in Rains County. Joseph is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, 1 brother, 1 sister, 5 grandchildren , 6 great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends. Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Alvin and Zenna Vee Bowman; sisters Jean Reaves and Barbara Bowman; and nephew Larry Reaves. A funeral service will be held Thursday, Oct. 12, at the Lynch Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Lynch Memorial Park.
