Marilyn Strauss, 81, of Hallettsville, passed away October 10, 2017. She was born on August 1, 1936 to Leonard O. & Julia Dusek Woytek in Hallettsville. She married Clarence A. Strauss on May 27, 1961 in Hallettsville. Marilyn is survived by: 2 daughters, Dianne Grahmann & husband Mark A. of Hallettsville, and Mary Harmon of Hallettsville; and brother Dennis J. Woytek & wife Sandy of Katy. Marilyn was preceded in death by; husband, parents, brother Leonard J. Woytek, and grandson Dawson Andrew Grahmann. Funeral Service: 3 pm, Saturday, October 14, 2017, at St. Peter Lutheran Church of Hallettsville. Visitation: 4 pm, Friday at Kubena Funeral Home with Prayer Service starting at 6:30 pm. Officiant: Pastor Jared Stillions. Memorials: St. Peter Lutheran Church or Charity of Your Choice. Burial: Hallettsville City Cemetery.
