Obituary from The Daily Herald (Provo, UT) - Thursday, September 17, 1959: LINDON - Theron Harris, 55, Lindon farmer and fruit-grower, died in American Fork Hospital Wednesday, following a stroke. He was born June 12, 1904 in Lindon, a son of Albert and Sarah J. Herbst Harris. He attended Lindon schools and Pleasant Grove High School. He married Edna Turnbeaugh April 23, 1951 in Lindon. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was an elder in the church and at the time of his death was a ward teacher supervisor in the Aaronic Priesthood of Lindon Second Ward. Survivors include his wife; a stepson and stepdaughter, Theo Pendleton, and Mrs. Klein (Alene) Adams, St. George; five grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers, Clarence Harris, Orem; Leonard and LeRoy Harris, Lindon; Mrs. Alta Devey, Alpine, and Mrs. L.N. Humphries, Richfield, Idaho, and two half sisters, Mrs. Parry Kirk, Orem, and Mrs. Ella Cook, Copperton. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in Lindon Second Ward by Kenneth H. Jone, Bishop.
