Christopher Graves, 54 of Lincoln, died on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Bryan Medical Center – West in Lincoln. Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. John the Apostle Parish in Lincoln with Father Johnson officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 30th from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will be at a later date. Christopher Scott Graves was born on November 21, 1962 to Raymond and Eleanor (Jilg) Graves in Fremont, NE. During his life Christopher lived at the Beatrice State Home, Community Alternatives in Lincoln and Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother; Eleanor Bender (Charles LaChapell) of Council Bluffs, IA, his brothers and sisters; Michael (Sachiko) Graves of Okinawa, Japan, Patrick (Brenda) Graves of Jackson, NE, Monica Anderson of Omaha, Cheryl (Duane) Dubas of Raymond, Thomas (Jamie) Bender of Hastings, Richard (Lisa) Bender of Ayer, Terrance (Tomoko) Bender of Okinawa, Japan, Cory Graves of Lemars, IA, Chad Graves of Chadron, Curtis Graves, Tim Graves, Nicole Graves and R.J. Graves all of North Platte. He was preceded in death by his father; Raymond Graves, his grandparents; Donald and Claire Graves, Leo and Mary Jilg, and a niece, Teja Jo Graves.
