Bio

Christine Runyan, 83, a retired licensed vocational nurse, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, at a Richland Hills care center. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Christine was born Aug. 20, 1922, in Arkadelphia, Ark. She was a longtime member of Birdville Baptist Church. Christine was preceded in death by her husband, G.R., and daughter, Mary Runyan. Survivors: Daughters, Jan Posey and husband, Rodney, of Azle, and Joyce Johnson of Hurst; grandchildren, Michael, Mathew and Amanda Bannister, Amy and Aaron Posey, Thomas Johnson, Jill Gallander and Julie Johnson; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
