Bio

Elizabeth was born December 16, 1897 in Nebraska to Rudolph and Elizabeth (Binder) Mitchell. In 1900, the family was farming in Clarksville Township, Merrick County, Nebraska. The 1900 US Census shows: Rudolph Mitchell, 35, head, farmer, b. WI Elizabeth Mitchell, 35, wife, b. PA Frank Mitchell, 12, son, b. NE Rudolph Mitchell, 10, son, b. NE Charlotte Mitchell, 9, daughter, b. NE Helen Mitchell, 8, daughter, b. NE Pearl Mitchell, 6, daughter, b. NE Reka Mitchell, 4, daughter, b. NE Lizzie Mitchell, 2, daughter, b. NE Elizabeth married David Boldra. They were blessed with at least three children. From at least 1935, the Boldras were living at 3526 S. 27th St., in Omaha, Nebraska. The 1940 US Census lists: David Boldra, 41, head, mechanic body-fender, b. KS Elizabeth Boldra, 42, wife, b. NE Richard Boldra, 11, son, b. NE Betty Boldra, 10, daughter, b. NE Robert Boldra, 7, son, b. NE In 1945, the Omaha City directory showed David and Elizabeth living at the same place. He was working as a bodyman. Sadly, David died in June, 1953. Elizabeth continued living in their home. The 1959 Omaha City Directory listed her as Elizabeth Boldra, widow of David A., working as a bookkeeper for Consolidated Mercantile and Supply in Omaha, and her home address was 3526 S. 27th. Although her home address remained Omaha, Elizabeth entered eternity in San Diego, California July 5, 1995.
