Bio

Jesse Thomas Bullard, 74, of 2431 Scotland Drive, a retired farmer and painter, died Tuesday in a Dallas hospital after a long illness. Mr. Bullard, a native of Kaufman County, had lived in Dallas 24 years. He formerly lived in Ennis and Sterrett, Ellis County. Survivors are his wife; three sons, Jesse T. Bullard Jr. of DeSoto, Earl Bullard of Dallas and C. T. Bullard of Sterrett; a dauther, Mrs. Myrtle Jones of Dallas; mother, Mrs. Mahalie Bullard of Dallas; a brother, Frank Bullard of Rio Hondo, Cameron County; four sisters, Mrs. Dovie Hannah and Mrs. Zudie Van Sickle of Dallas, Mrs. Mattie Hodges of Garland and Mrs. Verdie Hopkins of Mansfield; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Southern Crest Baptist Church. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park.
