Bio
Roxie Lydia Burklund, age 93, went to her heavenly home on October 15 after suffering from leukemia. Roxie was born June 30, 1920 and graduated from Georgetown High School in 1939. She was preceeded in death by husband Reuben Burklund, granddaughter Gena Buesing Sackin and sister Beulah Kelly. She is survived by daughter Carolyn (Jeannie) Buesing, son-in-law David Buesing, of Pflugerville, grandson Heath Buesing of Bay City and great grandson Jacob Sackin of Pflugerville, brother Alfred Lykins of Austin, sister Lottie Dittrich of Llano, brother Raymond Lykins of Florence and her extended family at the Pflugerville Senior Citizens Center. Visitation will be Friday, October 18, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 at Beck Funeral Home, Pflugerville, Texas. Graveside service will be Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 2:00 at Palm Valley Cemetery, Round Rock, Texas.
