Mr. John J. Tomlinson, Sr.- age 70, Thursday afternoon Sept. 28, 1967 at a local hospital. Survived by wife, Mrs Cora Johnson Tomlinson; two daughters, Mrs. Carl A, Carson of Frederick, Maryland, Mrs. Lewis W. Bilbrey of Nashville; four sons, Vivian E Tomlinson of Fort Worth, TX , Eugene J Tomlinson of Daytona Beach, FL, John J. Tomlinson, Jr. of Lebanon, and Billy B. Tomlinson of Blytheville, Ark.; 19 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Remains are at Nave's East Side Chapel. Funeral services 2:00 Saturday afternoon at the first Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Robert G. Capra. Pallbearers: Honorary: Members of Phillips Bible Class of the First Baptist Church, Members of Lebanon Masonic Lodge, Members of the American Legion Post 15, Fr. T.R. Purer, Dr. Sam McFarland, Joe Hudgins, Volley McCullough, Joe Branham, Graydon Robinson, Phillip Reed, Hardin Sorrells, Judge Turner Evans, Thomas Sexton, Roy Crips, Frank McDaniel, Obie Williams, Homer Shannon, Wilson Thompson, Burton Wilson. Active: Charles Lloyd, Willard Hagan, William D. Baird, Wiullie Taylor, Barney Green, Guy James, Interment Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Nave's East Side Chapel, Lebanon in charge. John J Tomlinson and Cora Johnson Tomlinson had another son. He was born 26 Jan 1926. He died on 9 Dec 1984. He was cremated. He lived in Valousa Co., Florida at the time of his death.
