Gladys was born to Shelby and Bertie Ball Hall. She married Louis Vay Hooser on November 2, 1945 in Wayne County, Ohio. Gladys died in Life Care Hospice in Wooster, Wayne County, Ohio. ∼ Gladys Mae Hooser, 95, of Wooster, went home to be with the Lord and many loved ones on Friday, July 21, 2017 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster. Gladys was born Dec. 25, 1921 in Wayne, W.Va. to the late Shelby and Bertie (Ball) Hall and married Vay Hooser on Nov. 2, 1945. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1988. She had made her home in the Creston area since 1945 and was devoted to her family. Gladys always enjoyed being involved and active with her family and loved being busy and on the go. She was a member of Ambassador Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed. Surviving are her children, Linda and Delford Morris of Creston, Judy and Sam Chakey of Creston, Brenda and Jerry Hackworth of Wooster, Becky Olp and Robert Cool of Creston and Shelley Tompkins of Wooster; special nephew, Russ Hall of Toledo; 21 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Jean Renner, infant daughter Elaine Hooser, son, Bob Hooser; a granddaughter, 2 great-grandsons and brothers, Cpl. Gus Hall and Russell Hall. Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Rev. Jerry Hackworth officiating. Burial will be in Burbank Cemetery.
