Married first to Wendell White, then to Omar Lee Ellerbee. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Obituary from Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home (edited to remove living people) Wanda Jane (Karr) Ellerbee May 14, 1940 ~ May 11, 2024 (age 83) Wanda Ellerbee Obituary Wanda Jane Karr Ellerbee, 83, of North Richland Hills, TX, passed away on May 11, 2024. She was born on May 14, 1940, in Cleburne, TX, to the late Melvin Clarence Karr and Georgia Agnes Hulen. Wanda is reunited in death with her parents, brother Clarence Earl Karr, and sister Claudette Agnes Karr. Wanda will be lovingly remembered by her surviving family members: 2 daughters, 1 brother, 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Wanda attended Brewer High School and was actively involved in the Brewer High School Planning Committee over the years. She enjoyed genealogy, sewing, going on long drives through the country, old hymns and spending time with her family and friends. She was a believer and loved her church community as well as contributing to Samaritan's Purse Shoebox Ministry "Operation Christmas Child." She also found joy in sewing preemie gowns for local ministries and was faithful with the goodness, grace, talents, resources and time that our Lord gave her. "Well done my good and faithful servant."-Matthew 25:21 A ceremony to honor and celebrate Wanda's life will be held on Wednesday May 15th at 10:30 am at Grandview Cemetery, 8839 FM 4, Grandview, TX 76050. The funeral arrangements are being handled by Clayton Kay Vaughan Funeral Home in Alvarado, TX. Wanda's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
