GEORGE FALTESEK Graveside services for George Louis Galtesek, 64, of Placedo, who died Sunday in a local hospital following a short illness, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Shillerville Cemetery with Roy McLaurin officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of McCabe-Carruth Funeral Home. Mr. Faltesek, a Victoria native was born Aug. 18, 1925, to the late Peter John and Louise Frantis Faltesek. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict and a member of VFW Post 4403 in Port Lavaca. Mr. Faltesek was retired from Alcoa. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Ruby Lee Thomas Faltesek of Placedo; a daughter, Barbara Neill of Wood Hi; a son, Louis Faltesek Jr. of Placedo; a sister, Hermina Conn of Grand Prairie; and four grandchildren.
