David Russell Winkles, 93, of Harvest, Alabama passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Geraldine Winkles. There are 5 children, Jeanette Sue Blankenship (deceased) Sandra D. Lindsey (deceased) and Jerry Lindsey (deceased) Lisa Gail O'Reilly (deceased) of Chicago. David and Geraldine went to Mississippi and got married, then moved to Chicago, Illinois. After working for Plating Service Company for 50 years, David retired back to Harvest, Alabama in 1999, and purchased their home in Harvest. Burial will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery.
