Ruth "Ella" is the daughter of Richard Watson and Elizabeth Catherine Baxter She married July 4, 1880 to James Jeremiah "Jim" Leeth; the son of George W Leeth 1831 – 1856 and Catharine Panton Meldrum 1830 – 1891 By 1910 Ella listed in the census, she had 15 children and 13 still living and this was the first marriage for them both Living with them in 1910: Donnie 21 George 19 Velma 18 Mamie 16 Erna 11 Ina 10 Udie 8 Fred 5 Elizabeth Baxter Powers 74 (Ruth's mother) 5 of her children already out of the home and living elsewhere. Jim died just short of their 67th anniversary and a decade before Ella. Ella died 2 months shy of her 95th birthday.
