"Anna Ohnoutka Anna M. Ohnoutka, 97, of Lincoln, formerly of Weston, died Friday, April 14 at Lancaster Manor in Lincoln where she had resided since January, 1996. She was born Dec. 19, 1902 to Charles and Frances (Fajmon) Woita at rural Prague. She attended District 83 School at rural Weston. She worked several years as a housekeeper in Omaha prior to marriage. On Nov. 23, 1926, she married Ferdinand L. "Fred" Ohnoutka at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Plasi. The couple farmed south of Weston until moving to Lincoln in 1956. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Lincoln, Catholic Workman, Branch 26 in Weston, and a former member of American Legion Auxialiary Unit 308 of Weston. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter and son-in-law, Don and Lorene Huston; four brothers, Charles, Louis, Emil and Edward Woita; and three sisters, Emma (Kucera) Egr, Marie Fujan and Frances Allison. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Leroy and Lil of Weston; six grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Services were held on Wednesday, April 19 at St. John Catholic Church in Weston. Reverend Rand Langhorst officiated. Burial was in the St. John Cemetery, Weston. Pallbearers were Kevin, Brian and Craig Ohnoutka, Robbie and Bob Nusbaum and Doni Huston. Memorials may be sent to St. John Elementary School, Weston. Svoboda Funeral Home, Wahoo, was in charge of arrangements." - Wahoo Newspaper, Page 9A; April 20, 2000
