Services for Rev. A.M. "Mitch" Fagan, retired Baptist minister, were held in the First Baptist Church in Comanche with burial in Zion Hill. He grew to manhood in Habersham County, Georgia, and moved to Texas locating first in Lamar County where he was married to Miss Lucy King, who survives him. Mr. and Mrs. Fagan moved to Comanche County in 1880. Rev. Fagan was ordained as a Baptist minister in 1886 and was active as a preacher until 1926. He never held a pastorate or accepted money for his sermons. He did most of his preaching in Comanche County and around Dublin, Stephenville, and Brownwood. Rev. Fagan was a man of sterling character and integrity. Children surviving are Jesse Fagan, P.M. Fagan, J.W. Fagan, Eva Hanyes. Two sons and two daughters are deceased.
