Bio
Ella Mae Zmolek, age 83, departed this life September 2, 2017 in DeSoto. She was born in Ennis May 4, 1934 to Charles Anton and Marie Anne Kohn Bouska and grew up in Ennis. She was Bluebonnet Queen of Ennis in her youth. Ella Mae was a member of St. John Catholic Church and a member of the Golden Crusaders. She loved doing family genealogy research and traveled to the Czech Republic to trace her family lineage. She was a wonderful seamstress and a great cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 62 years, Jerry Zmolek and infant daughter Janice Kay. There will be a Rosary at 9 A.M. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled at 10 A.M. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Ennis.
