Edna Stolz Edna Riedel Stolz, 91, of Victoria, died at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 1991, in a local nursing home. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. Sunday until time of services on Tuesday. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with the Rev. Elliott Pancoast officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Rosewood Funeral Chapels. She was born Sept. 1, 1899, in Meyersville, to the late Edward C. and Sophie Jacob Riedel. She married the late Gustav "Gust" Stolz on June 9, 1922 and was a housewife and a member of the First English Lutheran Church. She worked with a telephone company in Nordheim and Fredericksburg for five years. She also worked at Foster Field from 1942-1945. She was active in the First English Lutheran Church Women's Group. Surviving are three sons, Robert C. "Bob" Stolz of Victoria, Gustav Stolz Jr. of Denver, Colo. and E.M. "Milo" Stolz of Houston; two sisters, Marguerite and Caroline Riedel, both of Yorktown; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 15, 1987. Memorials may be made to the First English Lutheran Church.
