Effa G. Jeannet Funeral for Effa Gladys Jeannet, who resided at Mt. St. Joseph Residence in Portland, will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Riverview Abbey Chapel. Interment will be at Riverview Abbey Mausoleum. Mrs. Jeannet, 79, died Saturday at her residence. She was a native of Gooseberry and had lived in Portland since 1918. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Betty Peterson, Portland; a son, Dr. Donald J. Jeanett, Los Angeles; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the Mt. St. Joseph Residence Fund. [ The Oregonian , Portland, Oregon, Tuesday, September 10, 1974]
