Joan was the daughter of Francis Vincent Frank Fraser 1893–1968 & Mary Margaret Dilworth 1899–1974 She was married on 10 May 1956 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, USA to Johannies Ferdinand Rynties (1935–2006) They were the parents of two sons and one daughter.
