SHARES A HEADSTONE WITH ROZINA "ROSIE" POKORNY MICHALIK (#18286771), HIS WIFE.
He emigrated from Hamburg with a departure date of January 11, 1888, on the ship Amalfi destined for New York. His last place of residence was Mezeric [or Mezerie], Mähren. He was John on every census from 1900 to 1940. He married Rosina Pokony on November 3, 1891, in Williamson County. They were married by George R. Scott, a Justice of the Peace. In 1900, Scott was a lawyer living in Taylor, so it seems likely that they were married in Taylor.
