Bio

Grew up and was educated in Valley and Garfield Counties. Married Stanley Gross Jan. 24, 1915 at Burwell. The couple farmed south of Burwell and in 1921 moved to a farm southwest of Ord which they farmed until 1940. Lived one year in Ord and then moved to Grand Island. Mr. Gross died in 1964. Survivors included two daughters, Evelyn Moskovitz and Elaine Coos; three sons, Everett, Edward and Ernest Ray Gross; four sisters, Rose Valasek of Lincoln, Marie Valasek and Vlasta Knight, both of Ord and Wilma Braund of San Diego, Calif.; and a brother, Leonard Klima of Berkeley, Calif. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter...
