MRS. MELKA GARRELTS PASSES AWAY IN IOWA Burial services for Mrs. Melka Garrelts, formerly a resident of Benson and Roanoke, were held yesterday morning at St. Peter's church cemetery at Benson, Rev. J. J. Haberaecker was in charge. Mrs. Garrelts was laid to rest beside her husband, who passed away February 3, 1916. Mrs. Garrelts passed away last Saturday at the home of her son, Frank in Ayrshire, Iowa, where funeral services were held Tuesday. She was born October 11, 1847 in Germany and came to this country in 1889. She lived in Benson until the death of her husband in 1916, when she went to Roanoke, In 1923, she went to Iowa and had since resided with her son, Frank. She is survived by two sons, Frank of Ayrshire, Iowa, and Aaron of Graetinger, Iowa; and two daughters, Mrs. Kate Reiter of Palmer, Iowa, and Mrs. Cassie Curley of Kingfisher, Okla.
