Tom is the son of Glenn and Margaret Workman. He was, for most of his life, a Boy Scout since 1958. He achieved the Eagle Scout Honor and also the Beaver Award and Silver Beaver Award. Served in the Vietnam War in the United States Army. He took the last Honor flight to D.C. to visit the Vietnam Memorials in May of 2017. Married Kathy on October 19-1968 He was a train enthusiast, having turned his basement into small towns with many tracks for trains to go through. He was even know to take rocks from State Parks, to decorate his towns. He also liked going to the movies, taking many kids to see the new ones (they were hoping for an action adventure) like Abraham Lincoln, he said history was important so the kids should learn it. But he also introduced a few to their first "R" rated movie, and was only embarrassed when one came home quoting Blazing Saddles (and still could today). He would give you the shirt off his back but with two pages of instructions. He was there for all his family and friends and will be greatly missed. But he is having fun in Heaven telling God on how it should go.
