Bio

March 20, 1926 Doyle Pope, 91, passed away on August 10th, 2017 at his home in Memphis with family by his side. Mr. Pope was born and raised in Booneville, Mississippi and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a retired letter carrier with the United States Postal Service. Mr. Pope was preceded by his wife, Irma Pope, sister, Helen Swindle, and brother, Armon Pope. He is survived by his children, one daughter, Patricia Pope, two sons, Albert and James Pope, and multiple nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 10 at Memorial Park Cemetery The funeral will be held on Monday, August 14 at 10:00 a.m. All services will be held at Memorial Park. Memorial Park Funeral Home.
