1974 © Norfolk Daily News; Norfolk, Nebraska, Saturday, December 21, 1974, page 9 Mrs. Agnes Pospisil MADISON -- Services for Mrs. Edward (Agnes) Pospisil, 76, of Madison were held December 13 in Trinity United Methodist Church at Madison with the Rev. William D. Arnold officiating. Burial was in Crown Hill cemetery at Madison. Agnes Kucera was born October 24, 1897 at Howells, Nebraska to Mr. and Mrs. James Kucera and passed December 10 in Valley View Lodge at Norfolk, which she enterd on December 7th. On November 28, 1916, she married Edward Pospisil of Madison. They farmed west of Madison until moving to a farm north of town in 1932. The couple retired to Norfolk in 1952, later moving to Howells. They moved to Madison in 1970. Mr. Pospisil passed on April 22, 1973. Survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Matilda) DeGroot of Madison, two granddaughters, three great-grandchildren, one sister, two brothers, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, and two sisters.
