Clifford Duncan Wingo (1918 - 2017) Clifford Duncan Wingo passed from this life into the arms of his Savior on Sunday, August 6, 2017 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born to Peter and Nettie Wingo on March 18, 1918 in Seymour, Texas. Clifford married Bernice Key on February 24, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico. He worked at the Granada, Lindsey and Texan Theaters, White's Auto and The Salvation Army where he was a longtime member, as well as many other places. He loved camping, yard work, and working. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Eula Wingo; brothers, Lee and Jack Wing; sons, Johnny and Steve Wingo; and wife, Bernice Wingo. Survivors include daughters: Patricia Wingo, Kay Potter, Gloria Rubino and Penny Rushing; son, Michael Wingo; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Resthaven Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the Salvation Army Church, 1111 16th Lubbock, Texas. A Reception will be held at 1:00 p.m. prior to service.
