Graveside services for Joseph R. Butler, 80, of Mabank, were noon, April 17, at Oaklawn Cemetery, with the Rev. Tim Shaw officiating. Interment followed in Oaklawn Cemetery, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Mabank. Mr. Butler died Saturday, April 14, 2001, at Hospice Home Place, in Tyler. He was born July 7, 1920, in Corsicana. Mr. Butler was a carpenter. Survivors include wife, Bertha P. Butler of Mabank; daughters, Belinda Autry of Bourne and Beverly Paschal of Lewisville; sons, Mickie Butler of Red Oak and Ron Butler of Corsicana; brother, Cecil Butler of Portland OR; sister, Charlotte Fisher of Paso Robles CA; three stepchildren; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
