Bio
Milady Zezulka, 80, of Taylor died Thursday, Sept. 25, 1997, in a care center there. She was the sister of Mary A. Denkeler of Beeville. Mrs. Zezulka was born Mary 3, 1917, in Taylor to Joe and Julia (Belicek) Svrcek. She married Gus Zezulka in Taylor on April 11, 1934. They lived on the Pettus Ranch in Thrall for many years, taking care of the ranching needs there. She also was an artist, specializing in wildlife and birds. He preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 1972. Rosary was recited at the Condra Funeral Home chapel in Taylor at 8 p.m. Saturday. Funeral Mass was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary's Catholic Church there, with Father Lonnie Urban officiating. Burial followed in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Alex Zezulka, Curt Shinn, Gary Denkeler, Steve Barnett, Larry Meiske and Frankie Zrubek. Survivors include three sisters, Vlasta Zezulka of Austin, Margaret Meiske and husband Aldo of Taylor and Mary A. Denkeler and husband Wilburn "Denk" of Beeville; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Beeville Bee Picayune, Wednesday, October 1, 1997
