Millie Slovacek of Kemp, TX | 1919 - 2017 | Obituary Millie Slovacek Born: April 14, 1919 Died: August 2, 2017 Millie Slovacek was born in Kaufman, Texas on April 14, 1919 to John Miklis and Frances Valek. Millie passed away in Mabank, Texas on August 2, 2017. She was raised in Kaufman where she lived most of her life. Millie worked several years for the Mesquite School District. She was also a member of the Saint Ann Catholic Church in Kaufman, Texas. Millie loved to spend her time gardening , cooking, fishing and dancing. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Frances Havlik, Frank Miklis, Johnnie Miklis, Agnes Novak, Mary Maliska Devin, Joe Miklis, Antone Miklis and Thomas Miklis, grandson: Scott Eastep. Millie is survived by her son: Robert Slovacek and his wife Betty of Mabank, Texas, daughter: Dorothy Eastep and her husband Dwain of Kaufman, Texas, grandchildren: Shery Damuth, Kellye Davis, Randy Eastep, great grandchild: Madison Montgomery, sisters: Louise Merek of Kaufman, Texas, and Hattie DeValming of Kaufman, Texas and many other relatives and friends.
