John D. Cejka, 78, of Tampa, Florida, passed away Monday, February 11, 2008. He was born at Scio, Oregon to Charles and Viola (Kasha) Cejka. A few years later the family returned to the Crete area. He is retired from the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his sons, Terry Cejka of Newport News, Virginia; John Cejka of Cooper City, Florida; seven grandchildren; sisters, Helen Jochim of David City; Viola Mulroney of Pasadena, Texas; Mary Lou Cejka of Tampa, Florida; brothers, Robert Cejka of Phoenix, Arizona; James Cejka of Dawson, Georgia; brother-in-law, Ron Andrews of Beverly Hills, Florida; sisters-in-law, Beth Cejka of Ashland; and Helen Cejka of Crete; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Peggy; brothers, Charles and Frank; sisters, Irene Livi and Julia Andrews. Source: The Crete News, February 27, 2008
