Bio
Lyndol Marie Stephenson, 79, of Hallsville went to the Lord in the early afternoon of Saturday, July 22 surrounded by her family. Lyndol was born on November 3, 1937 in Longview to parents Otto and Marie Dunford. Following her graduation from Longview High School class of 1955, Lyndol attained a RN from the Texas Easter School of Nursing in 1957; she then worked for Good Shepherd Medical Center. In her free time Mrs. Stephenson would go to estate sales and fish with her family. In her later years, Lyndol would play Chickenfoot with anyone that was willing to play. Beyond all else, Mrs. Stephenson was a mother, and a true matriarch of her family who loved beyond measure all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Those who preceded Mrs. Stephenson in death include her parents, Otto and Marie Dunford; and her husband of 47 years, Charles Stephenson, and son-in-law William “Mack” Mackey.
